As a registered student, you will automatically receive the following FREE printing budget at the beginning of each semester: Fall & Spring $15; Summer $5.

Printing prices are as follows:

  • 3¢ – double-sided black ink
  • 18¢ – double-sided color
  • 2¢ – more each for single-sided

Students may increase their budget in-person at the Registration and Records Office. Funds added to the printing budget do not roll over to the next semester.  Only printed jobs are charged to your print budget.

Students can print to the BTC Secure Print queue from a BTC computer or personal device.  Print jobs can be retrieved at any student copier throughout the building.

Click here to configure your own computer to print here at BTC.

Print jobs sent to the BTC Secure Print queue will be held in the queue until you log in at a copier and print the job, but for no more than three days.

Log in using the last six digits of your student ID#.

Check out the Student Printer Maps (also attached below) to see the locations of student printers at the Central Campus Main building and Public Safety Center building.  (Monroe & IMEC coming soon!)

If you need to print in color, be sure to uncheck the Print in Grayscale option and select the Color option when printing.  Also be sure to release the job at a color printer.

Contact the IT Help Desk at (608) 757-7711, [email protected], or room 2506 for any issues, instructions, or supplies.
